First, we will enjoy a magnificent view of the city and appreciate its delicious cuisine, culture, and city tours; we will visit La Candelaria, the historical heart of Bogotá, with cobblestone streets, colorful colonial facades, and beautiful squares. Several points of interest can be found here, such as the Gold Museum, which houses an impressive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts, and the Casa de la Moneda, where the old Colombian currency was minted. We will also visit Monserrate, an iconic mountain that rises above the city and offers a spectacular panoramic view of Bogotá.

We will fly to Yopal, the capital of the Casanare department and the gateway to the Colombian Eastern Plains, “los Llanos Orientales.” One of the main attractions of this region is its extensive plains characterized by their expansive landscapes and typical savannah vegetation. We will enjoy the beautiful panoramic views, and breathtaking sunsets, and connect with nature in its purest state while staying in a traditional llanero herd in the middle of the savannah with all the comforts. We will take part in the photos of wildlife while on this safari, an exceptional experience in the eastern plains of Colombia, in which we will admire the rich diversity of fauna inhabiting the region spotting species such as alligators, capybaras, deer, herons, and an impressive variety of birds. In addition to its natural beauty, Yopal also offers cultural and folkloric experiences. During your visit, you can immerse yourself in the typical music of the region, such as Joropo, a musical genre and traditional dance of the plains. You can also enjoy the local gastronomy, which includes traditional dishes such as mute llanero, “mamona,” and “sancocho de gallina.”
