Get ready to explore Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, a vibrant and diverse city, accompanied by a fun and charismatic tour guide. First, we will enjoy a magnificent view of the city and appreciate its delicious cuisine, culture, and city tours; we will visit La Candelaria, the historical heart of Bogotá, with cobblestone streets, colorful colonial facades, and beautiful squares. Several points of interest can be found here, such as the Gold Museum, which houses an impressive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts, and the Casa de la Moneda, where the old Colombian currency was minted.

We will also visit Monserrate, an iconic mountain that rises above the city and offers a spectacular panoramic view of Bogotá. Then, we will take a flight to NEIVA. During the stay, we will take a short walk towards the Tatacoa Desert, which offers magnificent panoramic views, and participate in an astronomical observatory experience. We will fly to Pitalito and visit San Agustín, an archaeological site with ancient statues and sarcophagi depicting pre-Columbian civilization’s history.

We will admire the meadows on horseback. Finally, we will fly back to Bogotá to visit one of the Colombian landmarks, the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquira, an underground Roman Catholic church built within the tunnels of a salt mine. It is renowned for its stunning architecture and artistic representation of the Stations of the Cross, carved into the salt walls by Colombian artists.
